I have managed to pull off a coup and book possibly my favorite location in the LA area. It's a great place called the Mountain Mermaid in Topanga Canyon. All the major fashion magazines have shot here; Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, you name it. In the adult world, Playboy has shot here lots of times, Perfect Ten has been here a number of times, and Mystique has done several shoots at the Mermaid. Now you can shoot in the exact location as all the major magazines!
This will be a combo teaching and shooting workshop. Working with two models, we'll shoot at least two to three looks per model each day! A quick lecture in the morning on both days and then we will get straight to shooting. I'll explain the lighting process and concept for each scene. In my opinion, this is the best way to learn the process of creating your own concepts and lighting. You will not only get stunning images, but also learn the process of crafting them yourself.
This is not a shoot out - this is one on one shooting.
